Fuming generation

We fume alot about how civilization has brought about ease in our way of life, the ease that range from transportation, economic, communication and every other aspect of life that differ from the way things are done in the pre - industrial revolution era. We are quick to tell the tale of how life was hard for those before us, we recount how hard they work, how long they walk and so on.

We are always quick to do the comparative study of life of then to that of now, we always tell of how we travel fast, how we communicate with people far away from us and get the response immediately unlike in the psat.

We are always joyful that our time happens to be the best and look down on the people from the past.
We compare everything of now and that of then, but sadly we do not always compare life span of those of the pre -industrial revolution and that of the civilization/globalisation. We retort our fastest way of communication and transportation and downplay how all these were done in the past.

We never emphasise the depletion of the ozone layers and the negative effects it bring to this generation. We always termed some of the the ways of life of the people outside industrial revolution/civilisation barbaric but we do not emphasise the terrorism, pogrom and racism that are well pronounced in the contemporary time.

We are quick to forget that the transition we have now is as a result of improvement recorded in the past, we all think what we have today is not as a result of modernisation of the past civilization.

Let it be known that transition is what brought us to where we are today, what is outdated today was in vogue in the past and they were highly refer.

Next generation maybe asking us that "how on earth did we do it that we have to drive cars by ourselves, how and why should we have people to pilot aeroplanes, why did we stress ourselves going out to do heavy labour when we can just put a little effort and build robot that can do all these, why did we not invent chips that will prevent Accidents just as they will have during their time?

We are just to proud and emphasize our contemporary activities and ways of life without bringing up the negative impact that these have created.

Never again should we look down at the past generation.

That West African adage says "those who said the past generation are not intelligent had abused their fore fathers"

Let us do more on how we will prevent or cushion the effects of global warming, climate change and depletion of Ozone layers, we must bestowed to the incoming generation an earth that is habitable and conducive.

The voice of whom cry from the wilderness.
