Zero tolerance knives are diverse knives brands including both general use knives and combat knives. They are made up of high-end materials such as stainless steel that ensures that they are fit for purpose, and due to its quality, some of its brands have won numerous global awards for instance, the overall knife of the year award in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015, the collaboration of the year in 2011 and 2012, and the American made knife of the year award in 2014 and 2015. According to the awards organizers, zero tolerance knifes contains a combination of key features that makes them the best in the world. Some of these features include;

Hardness

The knife brand is made from the best type of steel, a key substance in making top kitchen, combat, and general use knifes. But to ensure that knives are harder, zero tolerance knifes are made up of steel and other substances such as vanadium, nickel, chromium, among others. This ensures that they are not only hard but also strain resistant, durable and remains sharp for long.

Sharpness

Zero tolerance knifes are the sharpest and remains sharp for long. This is due to the type of steel and other substances that are utilized in their manufacturer. By this, users do not have to sharpen them regularly and also keep its edges intact even after a long time.

Thin and Lightweight

Despite being made of top notch materials, these type of knifes are light and thin. This makes them easier to lift or carry and therefore do not strain the user during cutting even if applied in a normal kitchen. Though light, they are hard and strong enough. They cannot break even if used for cutting strong substances such as bones.

High stain resistance

Unlike the cutting knives, zero resistance knives have a high ability to resist strains and does not discolor easily. The normal ones are easily strained and tend to discolor after coming into close contact with blood or acidic substances such as vinegar, wine, and fruits like citrus and tomatoes. Over time they turn black and in certain cases, this greatly affects their cutting ability. However, find Zero Tolerance knives, they are made up of stainless steel instead of carbon steel which ensures they are not affected by stains. It also makes it unsusceptible to rust and therefore unlike most other knife brands, they do require regular scoring with stainless steel pads to keep them shiny and clean.

They come with unique shapes such as curved, double edged, crooked, etc. This is to meet their diverse usage whether applied for combat or the normal application such as kitchen usages.
