This is the video showing the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole insisting that the party will use the direct primary system to select its governorship candidate in Edo State.

Briefing newsmen shortly after a closed door meeting with some serving governors of the party led by governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state, Oshiomohle said governor Godwin Obaseki did not reject the direct primary officially.

However, while he insisted on direct primary for Edo Oshiomhole tactfully left the coast wide for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo, saying no decision has been made in respect of the mode of the primary to be used in Ondo State.

Justifying his position on Edo,he said the party has while giving INEC the mandatory 21 day notice for the June 22 primary in Edo state, categorically stated the mode of the primary.
