In the United States, black counties account for more than half of all coronavirus cases and nearly 60% of deaths, the study found (washington post) https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/05/06/study-finds-that-disproportionately-black-counties-account-more-than-half-covid-19-cases-us-nearly-60-percent-deaths/ A national study by the AIDS research group found that in 22% of counties in the United States, black people account for an excessive proportion of the population, while these places account for more than half of the cases of coronavirus and nearly 60% of the deaths. |

KBdownloads: Really! What about those who have lost loved ones to the pandemic and some of their family members are still positive to the virus? What will you tell my neighbour on my street who lost their breadwinner to this virus and they cannot even give their father a befitting burial? South Africa recorded 50 deaths yesterday and Brazil their highest deaths of over 1,200+ in just 24hrs! The pandemic is still ravaging. No fewer than 12 countries recorded their highest figures of confirmed cases within the last 24hrs: India 8,821 Pakistan 3,938 Bangladesh 2,911 Colombia 1,340 Argentina 904 Iraq 519 Venezuela 157 Nicaragua 359 Mauritania 80 Mozambique 53 Brazil 27,263 Africa recorded it's daily highest deaths yesterday, 150+. Wise people still care, it's just that life must go on, because it has become really wearisome. It is good to care so you are at alert to take preventative measures not to be infected or your loved ones. Those who have suffered the severe form of coronavirus know that malaria is no match for it. It has become a virus everyone has to learn to live with. Even in countries where the figures are still astronomically high, people just move on with their lives, because other challenges of life are just as equally disturbing - is it unemployment, horrific crimes, domestic violence or just watching as your children appear to be wasting away at home Just as the Bible says, the world is right now confused. The poor are languishing, the rich do not even have the right environment to peacefully enjoy their wealth. Private entrepreneurs are not finding it easy. Those on employment fear what their employers are cooking up to downsize. And those without jobs virtually have no one to look up to for financial assistance. People care, it's just that everyone is just simply fed up. What if you were scheduled for your final interview to jet off from this country for greener pastures and suddenly this pandemic locked up the world? Or billed for a job interview and the company has changed their mind? Or private school teachers who have not received salary for months now? Our belief or disbelief in the Covid-19 figures cannot change reality, it is not too late to realize that . 3 Likes 1 Share |

Let the lies Continue... Anyone who thinks Nigerians will willingly report themselves to get tested is not well upstairs... The Nigerians I know if the matter never reach near death for them, they won't go for the test. |
