Anyone that didnt read this book probably had a NEPA certificate There is a book that every educated Nigerian has read sometime in their lives. Your grandparents or great-great Grandparents may have read it if they attended at least Standard 6 (or present day Primary Six). If you haven't heard about Queens Primer, then you did not attend Nursery and Primary school in Nigeria. I remember how "I go up, up I go." This post is also giving me a nostalgic feeling of that Ali and Simbi reader we used, alongside some novels like Born Without A Silver Spoon, Eze Goes To School, Sugar Girl, Chike And The River. |
