Please, Help : How Do I Treat Sleep Disorder (Insomnia) Or Sleep Amnea by factorial1(m): 7:06am On Jun 04, 2020
I find it difficult to sleep early at nights and even during the day.

I could lie in bed for up to an hour or two before eventually falling asleep and later waking up to urinate 2 - 3 hours (even when I intentionally reduce the intake of fluid) into the sleep.

Also, take notice that I rarely have deep sleep. I don't take alcohol, or caffeine.

It's really disheartening almost every night that I'm afraid I wouldn't fall asleep, both in the day and at nights.

Doctors in the house, please, how can I overcome this?

Are you depressed, that could be a factor. You can make a few lifestyle changes
Engage in intensive exercises every other day
Avoid napping before 3pm
Introduce onion/garlic into your dinner
Switch off the lights and stay away from your phones once its bed time
Once the above start working develop a specific time for going to bed.

Sure, I checked ClevelandClinic already https://health.clevelandclinic.org/heres-how-you-can-overcome-insomnia/ but can't seem to find much as I've tried some of the natural prescription.

No, ain't depressed.

Though I study a lot and could be on my PC for as late as 2pm sometimes later than that.

I think I will just need to be disciplined and strict to going to bed early enough

Wanted to register at a gym before the whole lockdown ish. I have to start doing the little I can now

I will also take every other things you mentioned seriously.

To treat insomnia, I'll recommend the following.
1. Stick to a sleep schedule. Keep your bedtime and wake time consistent from day to day, including on weekends.

2. Avoid or limit caffeine and alcohol and don't use nicotine. All of these can make it harder to sleep, and effects can last for several hours.

3.Avoid large meals and beverages before bed. A light snack is fine and may help avoid heartburn. Drink less liquid before bedtime so that you won't have to urinate as often.

4. Avoid or limit naps. Naps can make it harder to fall asleep at night. If you can't get by without one, try to limit a nap to no more than 30 minutes and don't nap after 3 p.m

5. Remove all electronic gadgets during bed time such as turning off the TV, putting your cell phone away to minimize distraction and help you get enough sleep

6. Try to make your bedroom comfortable for sleep.

7. You can also visit a pharmacy to get a mild sedative to enhance sleep.

You need to have a sleep study done for a more accurate diagnosis. Once you have that, your doctor should give you a prescription for the new lifestyle to help you grin
Get yourself a good sedative.. one that can calm you and one to knock you out for when your body is tired of being tired.
Also, start now by keeping a sleep diary for when you go to see your doctor to request a sleep study.
