My laptop power off, even without touching d off button, I began to notice dis problem like 5 months ago, and only occur when am playing my Soccer game with my laptop, but 4 like 3 weeks now, it has become frequent, even when and when not playing soccer with it, I av an updated avira anti virus, expiring june 2010,N.B- it does not shut down , it just goes blank, I will av to push d power button to put it on back again, pls ur suggestions are need to proffer a solution , thanks

connect it to an ext monitor wit vga cable,if it works perfectly,it means u nid 2 chek ur lcd power inverter or worse,ur lcd is bad.

Dear Ogbeche77, your laptop is overheating. The switching off that you complain of is a safety feature of the microprocessor in the laptop. Usually when temperature exceeds 85 degrees Centigrade.
