The problem we have in Nigeria is not acknowledging people's effort when they indeed make a difference, it's quite sad. Please don't in the name of politics belittle the achievement of Obaseki, indeed he has done way more than expectation, he has done more that oshiomole did in 8 years in just 4years. My firm went for a csr at Benin technical college and I was shocked the new face the college had on, all thanks to Obaseki, and he is not making noise about it.

Let's not even talk of textile Mill road that previous Governor's have been using to play politics, let's not even go to the numerous ongoing road construction and rehabilitation.

Obaseki might not be a good and smart 1politician but he has been a good governor for the people of Edo state and it is clear for all to see, except you are thinking from the angle of politics or you are an aggrieved kabaka fan.

Lastly, For you to also compare a governor and a president then I don't think you know how to do proper comparison, peace.....

When you are done reading, kindly enumerate 10 things Oshiomole, Lucky, and by extension Ize Iyamu did for the same State while they held sway.

After that, do well to point out Obaseki's sins.

I honestly want to know what he did wrong. I am mon-partisan, whatever will grow Edo is all I'm up for.

you and I know what you just listed are total rubbish, the fact remains obaseki is a failure of a governor, in all senatorial districts you could list just about 4 roads and the rest are "ongoing", keep deceiving yourself ,you listed his achievement in the fight against convid19 and listed the outrageous amount you lied he's paying when in the actual sense health workers went on strike over government negligence in the fight against convid19, a governor that deliberately brought almajiri kids and quarantined them in edo when their state governors were rejecting them just to hike the numbers to prevent the opposition's primaries, who in normal sense would list repainting of stadium and state secretariat as an achievement of a governor who receives the 8th highest federal govt allocation in Nigeria? the rest achievements are mou and the question is what did he do with all the money? Edo is obviously worse off than pre obaseki time which is very obvious, for all those guys praising obaseki because of daddytime post, you all should know daddytime is a direct beneficiary of the govt, I have seen a picture of daddytime and the governor so I'm not just surprised seeing this at all, dont be deceived, you listed "opening of central hospital" as an achievement, a hospital that was built and commissioned by his predecessor, obaseki locked that hospital for almost three years for no reason and when he eventually opened it he handed it over to private investors and as we speak the Benin central hospital is been run by a private investor and common edolite cant access it and yet you listed it as his achievement, you celebrate repainting of stadium while fellow Niger delta states has sports center in every local govt area, new era girls college new buildings under lock because it was built by predecessor and yet kids are learning under dilapidated buildings, tayo Apata university of education is a mirage, Benin water storm project is a mirage, gelegele seaport he campaigned up and down with after embezzling money for soil testing has been forgotten, keep packaging a failure ,you hear .
