It saddens my heart each time I visit Nairaland only but to see my follow brothers and sisters fighting each other all in the name of tribe

May God help us

May the below picture teach you a lesson as it tales and cares a story that no one is born racist, no one is born tribalist

All the racism, Tribalism are learned behaviour that can be unlearn

This picture was in 1955 in Congo then a Belgian colony.

Remember
No one is born racist but human beings are taught racism by others.

The statue of a notorious Nigerian slave trader Madam Efunroye Tinubu comes under intense focus as outrage rises around the world.

Say no to tribal war among us

And

No to racism around the world

@ First Pic - You can imagine the image that such children were exposed to. Those children probably grew up feeling "godlike" in contrast to other black folks.....and the inferiority that would have grown in the black child's mind.

It's just sad that we all live our short mortal lives trying to say we're better than certain groups/tribes/races when in the true sense, we're all the same in creation and unique only by the content of our heart, our disposition to live and like Martin Luther King Said we should only look on people by "the content of their character and not the color of their skin".

Skin is part of what defines us, humans are not the same. Just like we have various species of animals of the same family such as different types of dogs, goats, cats, snakes etc. Same thing in farm produce such as mango, oranges, maize, apple, banana etc. Even in nature, such as water bodies, atmospheric conditions, landscape etc. We human beings are different, and just like everything in this world, we are in hierarchy, alas, blacks are at bottom of the ladder. We can only change the tide, if truly we're naturally equal, regardless of how we achieve it, but not through "begging".

Skin is a result of the environment we're born in. Our differences as humans does not necessarily create an atmosphere where a certain group believes they're superior in thoughts and social qualities.

It's not a matter of begging, it's a cry for normalcy where skin is not used to determine who enjoys certain luxuries over others.

Variety is not the same thing as superiority. If you talk about mental capacity.. There's nothing that race has to do with it.

Why is it that, "blacks" are not the ones racially abusing the "whites"?
if you can solve that, it'd be easier for us to reach conclusion.

There is a reason some types of dogs are more aggresives than other types of dogs, regardless whether they're domesticated or in the wild. There is a reason some types of mangoes taste better than some others.

How can man domesticate horses and donkeys but found it difficult to domestic their cousin, zebra?

About the Zebra example, have you considered that it's because they haven't tried?

There is something more than racial inferiority that makes one race not want to lord themselves over the other - talk about customs, morals et cetera.

And besides, do you know that blacks also exploit the whites albeit for personal and selfish reasons, so the effect is not seen on a large scale.

It's not a question of which mango (race) tastes sweeter (superior) than the other but rather which of them has gotten a foundation upon which their human greed and insecurities is aided.

They tried many times, it didn't work, zebra can't be domesticated easily ( i said easily, because it's assumed they can, but it'll take many years, if not generations and so much brutality, which is not the case of its cousins). you can google it.

racial inferiority? what does that mean? which race is exhibiting such traits? why are they exhibiting it? how do customs & morals of a community or race came to be?

what do you call it when black/african americans look down on africans / african immigrants? or such don't exists?
is tribalism and racism not the same? just that one is about tribe and the other is about race.

Your original comment puts it forward that "it is what it is" and that one some humans (race) will always be superior to others - you even gave a mango analogy.

What your statement has not answer.... Are people naturally wired to feel superior to others because they were birthed into a certain color of skin?

I'm telling you that, racism and all its cousins (tribalism, ethnicity and even nepotism) are environmental factors learned or picked up. No race is born inferior or superior to another.

Your mango example only proves that people are different in social classification, but not necessarily superior in other facets
