When the PFA team of the year list was released sometime before the end of the season, there was so much ruckus about who was on, who wasn't on & who should never have been on that list --- well, as a little poser for all premiership fans on the LAND, put out your own PFA 11 list with only players from teams outside the big 4 on the log on it ! you dig ?

Re: Your Pfa 11 Team Outside The Big 4 by RuuDie(m): 12:00pm On Jun 12, 2007
my problem with your team is Ricardo Gardner @ center-back
Re: Your Pfa 11 Team Outside The Big 4 by loyika(m): 12:24pm On Jun 12, 2007
Why

Yes he is a natural left back, but he can also play in midfield, so that means he is versatile (Essien at Centre back for Chelsea showed us what every footballer can do if given a chance)

King and Gardner are two strong "Black" Lads and so will not be intimidated, i would have picked Sol Campbell, but right now he is too injury prone and Chimbonda is just a bloody joke to me.

I believe Gardner can be good in Centre if he is placed there, and with his midfield instincts would be quick in recovery in case of danger (just like Kolo Toure of Arsenal, who started off as a Midfielder).

Like i said, footballers are versatile nowadays (Just ask Stevie G grin), so i would still trust Gardner in the Middle of defence. (Anyway thats my team sha!!)

My worry remains the same, Zakora on a Bad day is a nightmare waiting to happen tongue But on a good day, he is as good as Essien cool

Stephanovic ain't a laddie no more, him as a wing-back bit of a gamble, don't you think
Re: Your Pfa 11 Team Outside The Big 4 by Hugoboi(m): 12:53pm On Jun 12, 2007
Any team that's got Berbatov in the attack is sure gon' be one helluva team!!
Re: Your Pfa 11 Team Outside The Big 4 by loyika(m): 1:10pm On Jun 12, 2007
@ Ruudie

Well Lauren and Neville puts pay to that statement on age (basically the whole AC Milan team puts pay to that grin) Basically my Defence is built on folks that would stay back and defend, rather than bomb upfront all the time (thats why you didn't see folks like Chimbonda or Babayaro tongue tongue)

Ruudie instead of all these questions, GIVE ME YOURS undecided NA WA OH!!

@ Hugo

I feel you bro, but one can't be too greedy grin cry

I have Tevez to scare defenders with his looks (and skills) Benni to give me the " I am Black GADDAMIT" attitude of his, and just incase that fails Andy J to get me cheap pens grin

If i had to enter the transfer market, definately Berbetov and "Le Sulk" would be my buys cool

ain't criticizing u or anything but a manager's got to be able to explain what he's doing -- shows that you know what you're doing & u was doing okay until this!

Zamora, and Pogatetz??
Re: Your Pfa 11 Team Outside The Big 4 by RuuDie(m): 4:57pm On Jun 19, 2007
kitaun:

Zamora, and Pogatetz??

Pogatez is a very versatile defender can play just about anywhere on that back-line; apart from injury probs he's been in fine form for 'Boro this past season!
Zamora - ain't g'onna say much for him; his partnership with Tevez and the results thereafter speak for him!
Re: Your Pfa 11 Team Outside The Big 4 by loyika(m): 5:04pm On Jun 19, 2007
His partnership

Ruudie, WESTHAM saved going down on the last day What partnership Tevez singlehandedly kept that team up, folks like Zamora were among those guilty of not pulling their weight all through out the season tongue

If it was the Zamora of the season before, i would say cool, but not the "Baby" of this season tongue

But its your team cool

@ Loyika,

Zamora played virtually every game since Curbishley took charge and he played alongside Tevez in all those games. you make it sound like Tevez was on the only player on that team !
Re: Your Pfa 11 Team Outside The Big 4 by kitaun(m): 6:55pm On Jun 19, 2007

WHAT IS YOUR FLIPPING POINT

You picked Bobby Zamora over Tevez, so as far as you are concerned, TEVEZ IS NOT THAT GOOD!? But now that United are getting him, HE IS GOD!!

Don't quote people without making a point bro, cause it just shows tongue Like i said, You picked Zamora over Tevez in your team, so you really have no leg to stand on tongue

This Sh@t is bleeping boring tongue
