The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced  663 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 13,464. 4 new deaths were recorded along with 166 recoveries with Lagos again topping the list.

The 663 new cases are reported from 26 states- Lagos (170), Ogun (108), Bauchi (69), Ebonyi (49), Edo (33), Rivers (30), FCT (26), Jigawa (26), Delta (20), Anambra (17), Gombe (16), Kano (16), Imo (15), Abia (14), Borno (11), Oyo (11), Plateau (, Kebbi (6), Kaduna (6), Ondo (4), Niger (2), Katsina (2), Osun (1), Ekiti (1), Kwara (1), Nasarawa (1)

The breakdown in the tweet of NCDC shows that the 663 cases were from 26 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 170. Ogun state followed with 108 while Bauchi had 69. 166 people recovered which brings the recoveries up to 4206 from 4040. There were 4 new deaths. Find the breakdown below:

No body is stopping you from making money.... All I'm saying is stay safe and observe all health safety precautions. That's all!

I think the reason for this is lack of seriousness on the part of the authority, some of the guidelines are not really enforced and large population of people still need orientation on proper ways of protecting themselves from the coronavirus, especially washing of hands frequently and wearing of face mask correctly. I pray a drug or vaccine for its cure come soon and affordable too. Please stay safe.
