Hi guys am new in the animation field, been working on it for 6 months now. Does the 3ds max software come with pre installed material maps or do i need to download them and put them in the software? If it offer to be downloaded and manually installed what website can i get all the material jpg files. |

If you bought the original max it comes with preinstalled maps. Maps are basically pictures so any picture is a map. Its best to create map as you need them. No need hunting for them online. Eg. If you want a concrete map, go online and search for concrete wall textures which you then place in the diffuse slot of your material |
