On a mission to identify young leaders in Nigeria and Africa, the NUTM Scholars Program (NSP) is a fully funded one-year interdisciplinary postgraduate program in Technology, Entrepreneurship and Design. With an aim to nurture change-leaders in technology and management, NSP will set you up to lead the transformation for Africa and the world with scholars having a holistic learning experience.

In addition to the financial bursary, NSP is also an amazing opportunity for outstanding young individuals who have a vision and the potential to make a difference for good in Africa to learn concepts in technology, entrepreneurship, management, leadership, perspectives and design thinking.

Having a good academic background is important for NSP, but it is not the only deciding factor. Scholars would also be selected based on intellect, leadership skills, character, and commitment. The program intends to build on these qualities with the best global faculty, our Experiential TedLab Learning, industry mentorship and the Global emersion week, amongst other things.

What does the Scholarship cover?
NSP is a full scholarship covering tuition, course materials, accommodation, meals, and exchange programs.

What does NSP Offer?

Apart from experiential learning modules, a strong focus on technology will help you learn concepts that are relevant for a digital-first world. Some of the key features of NSP include:

• Experiential Learning: Scholars gain exposure to real-world issues through a nine-month project delivered through TEDLab.
• Global Faculty: Lectures and workshops delivered by leading faculty from the African continent and the world.
• Shadow a Leader Program: Scholars get to observe, learn, and engage with select leaders in the corporate world
• Global Immersion Week: Scholars embark on a short study trip to the UK, US or China to gain exposure in business and culture
• Industry Mentorship: Scholars benefit from guest lectures, workshops and individual mentorship programs led by prominent industry leaders and entrepreneurs
