Coronavirus will be like normal malaria, herd immunity is needed, treat them and release them back to the society to protect us. Check my signature for IJMB or JUPEB Registration 1 Like |

104 cases discovered in one company?! The places they went and the people they came in contact with could double (or even triple) the numbers of infected! |

Fheelzz: See why I don't doubt the figures reported by NCDC: Health workers are the worst spreaders of this virus. At the begining, and even up till now, most health workers do not have or use personal protective equipment (PPE). And many Nigerians do not believe in Covid-19 and thus do not care about observing any form of protective measures. And since this is the case many with symptoms patronise private or large government hospitals even when they have symptoms. This is the setting. Now let us proceed and observe a typical working day in a busy hospital. A patient visits with complaint of malaria. They run a malaria test and it is ++. The doctor prescribes the drug, meanwhile the patient's temp has been taken, and the patient goes home. Meanwhile, that patient is a Covid-19 carrier, unknown to herself, the doctor, the nurse and the lab guy that attended to her. The same doctor and nurse who were already exposed to that carrier attend to say 30 patients a day. Soon it is discovered that the first patient is Covid-19 positive. Can you see the level of spread? The health workers might have unknowingly spread it to the 30 patients who have in turn gone home to spread same. The doctor goes home and spread, the nurse as well. The public transport they probably use nko? Look, the worst spreaders of this virus are health-workers - doctors, nurses, lab attendants. And NCDC has reported that no fewer than 800 health workers have tested positive for this virus and some, of course, have died. Can you imagine the number of persons (innocent patients they had attended to) they must have infected? This is why and how it spreads rapidly anywhere. The truth is that NCDC lacks the capacity to handle the pandemic, they are just playing for time pending when a vaccine will be released. Coronavirus is very real, and it is spreading wildly and widely. Interestingly, most cases in Nigeria, as in most countries in the tropical zones, are mild to moderate which actually do not need hospitalization. 3 Likes |

Lastorator: So what is the good news about being asymptomatic? Have you considered the close relatives and friends of these guys? If they board public transport everyday, the drivers and other motorists? Any health trainee will tell you that it portends greater danger because the spread will be alarming. |

Wow, thats quite a number, FCMB made some donations in Ogun that I think will really come in handy, they're sponsoring about 3000 tests also, that will help fasten tests, imagine getting a whole 104 from one company, apparently everyone should undergo this test. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nigerians are mostly asymptotic. Co-Vid will pass through most if not all of our population without us even noticing. It will come as no symptoms, or mild fever, or sore throat. |

post=90538489:it looks possible because l left the company on last week Thursday when NCDC officials are present to conduct testing for all the staffs of the company.the problem is that the company failed in complying with NCDC guidelines and they camped all their staffs in the office premises since last week Monday up till now with improper hygiene and preventions measures in place |

Doltmann:oga you don't know what you're saying. You may be staying around sagamu but you don't know what's happening around you. This company don't allow their staff to go home. They camped them there so how do you want to know that something is happening there when you're not one of the staff working there. |

Ologbojo2023: Why do Nigerians take pleasure in doubting everything? I see some ending up doubting their own existence one day. Thank you dear for your cautious comment. |
Re: Tomi Coker: 104 COVID-19 Cases Were Discovered In One Company In Sagamu by Jakumo(m): 4:34pm On Jun 11, 2020 |
4four: Very likely this mass infection occurred because an entire workforce was ILLEGALLY IMPRISONED in a Chinese operated factory in Ogun State, during which time the captive slave laborers were forced to work, and physically blocked from escaping to their homes. In short, the desperation of the Chinese slave drivers to make money at ALL costs, led them to ILLEGALLY imprison Nigerian citizens, thereby creating a perfect circumstance for the rampant spread of the Chinese Wuhan Corona virus, ultimately leading to an undetermined number of deaths as time unfolds. A very similar case took place recently in Zambia, with the result that the local community ambushed two Chinese factory owners who had been holding Zambian workers captive in their factory during the current corona virus lock-down . Once captured, the Chinese slave masters were summarily cut into bite sized pieces with sharp cutlasses, and that meat was then placed in the factory, before it was set alight and allowed to burn to ashes, along with the barbecued Chinese suya meat that had been placed on the factory floor to facilitate effective cooking. It is possible that the identity of the factory where 104 new corona virus cases has been found, is being kept secret by health officials, so that nearby communities do not take the law into their own hands by culling a few Chinese slave drivers as was done in Zambia, before serving their sliced and diced remains to Ogun, the God of Iron. If I were a gambling man, my smart money would be on the Chinese as the source of this virus outbreak in a factory. Check for Chinese slave-drivers, and if found, liquidate them with extreme prejudice, to serve as an example that will hopefully encourage ALL Chinese in Africa phuck off back to their polluted, bat-eating wasteland of a nation. |
