Question For A Mathematician by kambo(op): 12:27am On Jan 25, 2011
i'm not a mathematician.
but i'd like to be put right about this mathematical case.

case: 1 = 2!!

mathematical proof.

let there b 2 whole numbers,i.e integers. b,c
and a denominator, d.d is greater than 0 and is an integer,ie.whole number.

b/d = 1 (if d = b)
b/d < 1 (if d >b)

b/d approaches zero , as d gets larger and larger than b.

so b/inf =0 (inf is infinity)

if this is accepted,

then b = inf*0. [i.e infinity times zero ]

therefore the definition of any number is infinity *0.

if b = 1 ,b = infinity * 0
if b = 2 b = infinity * 0

so if b = infinity * 0
and b+1 = infinity * 0

then b = b+1 !!! (if infinity is a fixed quantity)

if infinity is a fixed quantity ,then inf/inf = 1.
then inf * 0 = inf * 0 = b = b+1!!

but if infinity is not a fixed quantity,
then infinity itself will not be equal to infinity,
say inf1,inf2 ,are 2 infinite quantities,then
inf1 = inf2 (wrong!!)
