Mechanical Engineering Department of The Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa, Oyo State popularly known as Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa on 10th of June, 2020 has commissioned Ergonomically designed Sanitizing Machine  which is produce to help curtail the spread of the novel pandemic Coronavirus disease also known as COVID-19.

While speaking at the commissioning, the Acting Rector of the Institution, Mr. Sikiru O. Falola "appreciate the department for their tremendous effort in cushioning the pandemic disease in the host community of the Institution and Nigeria at large, he also urge other departments to emulate Mechanical Engineering Department towards improvement of technology in the state and the nation at large, considering the Polytechnic as a technical Institution".


He however advice the students to stay safe and obey every rules laid down by the Ministry of Health and Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in contacting and curtailing the spread of the disease.

In attendance of the event are; HOD's of various departments, Ag. Registrar, Director Vocational Skill and Entrepreneurship Study Centre.
