Despite his eloquence when delivering speeches, the VP has remain resolute in keeping silence over political tussles & silence wars portrayed in some quarters. There's is a calculated attempt by some power hungary politicians from East( a serving APC senator & a Governor) as event unfolds to scuttle any move of Osinbajo becoming a president. They're not too comfortable with his silence over some action from the president, which is making them feel uncomfortable that is body language is gearing towards positioning himself for any eventualities. In a nutshell, they want him to speak out against some of the happenings in the presidency. But in other political climes like USA, I've not heard of the VP talking against Trump. does that mean he has no political ambitions. Constructive criticism will help both the politicians & the electorate at large. But ethnocentric criticism will create more confusions in the polity. 1 Like |
