There has been a lot of controversies about alcoholic drink among christian, some says there is no verse in the bible that condemn it (Jesus turned water to wine), while some say its not good to take alcohol.

Well lets look at Judges 13:4, 7 and 14 Samson's mother was told not to take wine, why? Because she carries a great child (a Nazarite) consecrated to the service of God, so if you separate yourself to the service of God, no strong drink. We all have a mandate, to serve God by preaching the gospel.


Proverb 21:1 a wine is a mocker, let those that want to be mocked take alcohol .

Proverb 31:4 strong drink is not for the royal people of God because, God will not allow his people mocked, so don't mock yourself. A christian is a royal priesthood. Proverb 31:6 give alcohol to those ready to perish, Christ came that we may not perish, but only those who obey will his death on calvary work for. Isaiah 5:11 and 22 woe to them that drink wine when they wake up early in the morning and those that turned beer parlour to office.

Number 6:3 anyone separating his or her selves and desiring the holy spirit should not take wine.

Alcohol is a mocker that little by little seek the steering of your life and drive you into ditch. Timothy was asked to take little alcohol for his health issue and not for pleasure, (those that are healthy do not need a doctor ) 1:Timothy 5:23. Proverb 21:1 alcohol is a drink which will advertise strange woman before you (sin. I mean work of flesh) and make you to judge wrongly (it take your sence from you and put you to shame), Proverb 23:31, alcohol bring curse. David got drunk and you know what happened to him also Noah.

I cry, wine is a mocker, and those who will be God's own cannot be mocked so don't cause mockery of yourself. Those who will do the bidding of God and be filled with the holy spirit should not take alcohol. God will grant us the grace to align with him perfectly and to desire his power.
