Like I said, it's an uncomfortable problem that will arise

I'm just being realistic.

It may sound sweet now, but when a road has not been repaired, even in this rainy season, we will still tag the government as incompetent[/s]
Are they not collecting monthly federal allocation? Are they still not exploiting the natural resources in their state? Are revenues not still being generated from selling services to public? So canceling tax increases or not implementing penalties or granting limited waivers is what will stop them from repairing road? You're anything but realistic!

Pay tax, you complain. Tax cut, you still complain. So you would rather prefer the Government to continue to tax people even when they're not making much sales/revenue during this lockdown? You must be very wicked. When businesses use all their profits and capital to pay tax now and everything crumble, who will pay tax to the Government after the pandemic? The Governor has simply given Businesses a conducive atmosphere to continue to operate. You rub my back, I rub yours. That's how the society grows.

Kudos to Governor Akeredolu for this, He has set the pace. Hopefully other states' Governors will follow suit.
Guy, well-done. The trash that guy put up there is nauseating enough

If the government is waiving taxes, how are they going to generate funds to carry out their responsibilities?

I'm not trying to be inhumane or a bad belle, but these are uncomfortable issues that will arise after these waivers

I see it as a way of our politicians avoiding their duties and maybe chopping money sef throughout the post covid-19 era

After all, if dem no do your road, you no go fit complain because people no dey pay complete tax or some no dey pay again.

Make I dey watch sha

That's the very best move he can make in times like this. He can't definitely bail them out and with such measures, he is sharing and cushioning effect. Yes! The government will also move at a slow pace which is called for.

another thing I like about him is that, he do take advice and he do respond to complains.
Esp, on twitter whenever we call him out on something.

he'll respond maturely not rudely and he'll explain.

I have accused him of several maladministration in the state, yet he never respond to one. Meaning he is as guilty as charged
