10.Real Madrid 1-4 Ajax(2019) –

Real Madrid is the most successful club in the UEFA champions league and was humiliated by Dutch champions Ajax in their marvelous comeback.

It was during the tenure of Andre Villas-Boas as manager of the club that they played Italian side Napoli in the round of 16 of the UEFA champions league and was defeated 3-1 but all turned around when Roberto Di Mateo replaced him as the Blues head coach. Di Mateo led the team to an incredible comeback in the second leg against Napoli in the champions league where they won 4-1 after an incredible strike from Ivanovic in the extra time. They later progressed to the quarter-finals and after a few months of play in the competition, they have crowned the European champions for the first time.



7.PSG 1-3 Manchester United (2019) –

The Red Devils had lost the first leg of the tournament by two to PSG and needed a supernatural and exceptional performance to qualify for the Quarterfinals of the 2018/19 Champions League.

The Miracle began when Romelu Lukaku broke the deadlock in the second minute of play giving his teammates hope, then after 10 minutes Juan Bernat appeared to kill their hopes with a goal but United didn’t give up. Lukaku scored again in the second half with a rebound from Marcus Rashford shoot making it two before the unbelievable happened few minutes before the stoppage time when the Red Devils were awarded a penalty which they scored in order to record an incredible comeback against the French side.

It may turn out to be the highlight of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s managerial spell with United.
