He is about to deflect too late

There will be so many negotiations and his certificate issue is still hanging.

Quite a conundrum Obaseki finds himself

He can simply present his school leaving certificate for now bros. Leave APC and all their hypocrisy. They bypassed all protocols for the president. For how long can rules be made for certain persons only?

APC weighed all the available options. They think Ize Iyamu is a better material being a politician. If Obaseki bought the hearts of the electorate - who are expected to vote - then its a big problem for APC. They want someone who answers to the party with all the resources of the state. We have reached a stage in this country were party men should be used by the masses to project the right candidate and not the other way round. That's what happened in the case of Oshiomole himself. The people backed him all the way and he uprooted Anenih. What goes around comes around.

Nigerians should wake up and stop the recklessness of political parties and their leaders. In the case of Edo the people who fought against godfathers are the same enabling a godfather to dictate the negative direction of the state.

Edo state under Obaseki has moved forward in many areas. I am for good governance. Oshiomole called Ize Iyamu a thief. They have always labelled PDP as a party of looters. Why have they recieved Ize Iyamu from PDP back? They only want to leverage on his followership to get that seat back.

They leave the man with the option of defecting. PDP is very solid in Edo state. I bet you gra gra for gra gra APC may lose the state. Oshiomole truly is the undertaker of APC.

I am not a political fanatic but few questions in my mind that begs for an answer.....which certificate did Obaseki presented and submitted before winning the election? On which political platform?
...who presented him to the party and supported him until he became a governor with the stated inconsistences in the presented certificates ?.....oh God we need your intervention....oh my country!!
in first term, he didn't present any certificate, he presented affidavits claiming he lost all his original documents while moving from one office to another

Obaseki is a bad market for any political party.APC have not revealed the major discrepancies in obaseki certificates. They re witholding it for Tribunal as plan B.

Obaseki defection doesnt add anything to Edo pdp because he doesn't have a political structure in Edo state.his bad Advisers can't follow him to PDP,they will only grumbled for a while and accept their fate in APC.

Oshomole + ize iyamu+ federal might is too much for obaseki and PDP in Edo
it's a funny reality, even as I hate to admit Edo political terrain is what oshomole understand better than any other

shocked

A man from Auchi toying with Benin sons as if they were nothing. Benin and Edo south have lost relevance and the powers now rest in the North.
More so, Edo state is now under the wings of Tinubu. Shame!

Benin people only know how to talk and be proud. That's all.
I tell you, they would tell you it's still a bini son that is figure head governor, a governor that answers to oshomole dictates and can be chased out like a slave

Ortom was not accused of certificate issue
It's still an accusation. So Gov Obaseki is still innocent until proven guilty. We are witnesses to that of Dino Melaye too.

Even though this analysis is spot on, some people want to shy away from this reality and are making some postulations that cannot stand any test.

Even the so called 9Assembly members are not all fully with him and will ditch him anytime soon.

You case is irredeemable, if you don't know electoral cases have a time frame of 21 days from the day , a winner is announced by INEC, no matter the numbers of evidence you might have to present. This is why, they refer to Una as typical lazy youth

Legal Regime on Time Limitations in Election Petitions
Section 285(5) of the Constitution stipulates that every election petition shall be filed within 21 days after the date of the declaration of result of the election. By subsection (6) of S. 285, the tribunal is bound to deliver its judgment in writing within 180 days from the date of the filing of the petition, while by subsection (7) of same section, an appeal arising therefrom shall be concluded within 60 days of the delivery of the judgment of the tribunal or court of appeal. Similar provisions on time limit for pre –election cases are enshrined under S. 285(cool,

This is why most of you fail severally in exams.
You didn't know the electoral constitution has been amended since over how many yrs now?
You are now aware, you have to submit any petition you have not more than 21 days ,from the date the winner is announced by INEC?
You are not aware from the tribunal to appeal to supreme, they all have 240 days to declare their judgement?
You are not aware, any electoral petition you have , you have to present it on or before 21 days, the winner is announced by INEC, any other days aside the 21 days, no court in the land will entertain that no matter the gravity of the evidence?
Truly, you are original number 1 mumu
The kind children that have taken over politics section these days ehhhhhh
