ahiboilandgas: Igbos and Hausas have intermarried before 1914! Many of such couples remain till date without being separated. Even Ojukwu almost married an Hausa girl, but the girl called off the relationship as the tension of the imminent civil began to rise. The union was blessed with a baby girl. Ojukwu still included his daughter from that marriage in his will. Even though they had not met for many years! It is Fulani that I have NEVER seen an Igbo married to any of them. Perhaps there is something fundamentally different between a Fulani and Hausa. It is the ignorance of people like the Op that makes them condone what Buhari has done to irredeemably divide Nigerians. |
