We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Videographer
Location: Lekki-Ajah axis, Lagos
Job Summary: Operates video camera and related equipment in the production and editing of video commercials or other video productions.
Job Description
• Working with a Creative Director or collaborative team to create the film or video product
• Shooting, editing and producing at least 3 videos per week
• Making video commercials
• Figuring out what type of equipment to use, calibrating and maintaining equipment
• Setting up cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props
• Troubleshoots problems with the equipment
• Interviewing people and creating a film clip via editing raw footage
• Inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video
• Adding computer graphics and special effects to a video
Qualifications for a Videographer
• 5 years experience or more in similar position
• Technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment
• Manual dexterity, physical mobility, and some physical strength/stamina
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work under deadline pressure
• Passion—they have to be all about getting the shot
