The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, is currently meeting with the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.

Oshiohmole leads four members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) to the Presidential Villa, Abuja, to meet Gambari. Edo governorship: PDP NEC to meet over Obaseki Obaseki’s disqualification: APC should apologise to Edo people — Orbih The concerned NWC members are the National Vice Chairman (North West), Barr. Inuwa Abdulkadir; National Treasurer, Adamu Panda and two others.

Oshiomhole was escorted to the meeting holding in the CoS’ office by a police orderly who who had a pile of office files with him. "Candidates are expected to obtain expression of interest and nomination forms, present their certificates for verification and appear before a Screening committee. This is the stage at which the domestic or internal affairs of the political party are not justiciable. The courts will not dabble into how a member of the party is screened, or why a member was not cleared by the party to contest the primaries. Put in another way, before a member of the party is cleared, the party has the power to disqualify their member, and is answerable to no one including the courts. A dissatisfied member's remedy is to leave the party and seek his political ambitions somewhere else."

Your submissions above are correct. But Oshimole and his faction of APC out of desperation did not follow the party Constitution in the formation of the screening panel and the waiver granted Iyamu. Some of the decisions taken are subject to NEC approval and Oshimole announced the disqualification of Obaseki by 2.00pm on the same day the appeal is suppose to close.

I think Obaseki is harvesting from his seed of thanklessness, ingrate and ingratitude behavior. You can't bite the finger that fed you and expect to have good in return.he deserves what happened to him.
