▪️"We Will Not Allow Nigeria To Breakup, It Won't Happen Under Our Watch. Nigeria Must Remain One At All Cost" — Northern Governors
▪️The Northern governors Forum has said that the North has never agitated for the breakup of the country, hence, it does not have any plan for it.

They Said, “If you look at our population and what we have together is more than what anyone can hope for. So to try to destroy this is certainly a lose-lose situation. That is why we here in the North would never say we want to leave this country. “

“If you examine the situation, you would find out it is only in Northern Nigeria that there is no agitation for the breakup of this country”.
They said that the unity of the country is sacrosanct, adding that the North has been playing the role of encouraging the unity of Nigeria “That is why we are the root of this country. If the root is uprooted, the tree will not be there.

They then added that so we like to be patient, we like to encourage Nigerians to love their country to be united and tolerate one another. So that we can build a kind of country we like to build.”
They then advised Northerners to exercise patience in building the unity of the country, as they are the root of Nigeria’s unity.
It is Northern Nigeria that doesn’t have any specific plan of its own, in case Nigeria is divided. This means we have absolute confidence that being together is the best thing for all of us.”
Our responsibility is to exercise patience to make sure we guide this country to the kind of unity and progress we need to develop into a better country and even become a nation-state,” The Northerner Governors Forum Said.

There must be justice and fair play for Nigeria to remain indivisible country. Without it Nigeria will break and nothing will happen. A situation where Fulanis are allowed to display Ak- 47 while rearing their Cows without caution and you people are saying the country will not break. You can see it clearly that you people are joking. Therefore, the decision that Nigeria will not break must be taken by all the ethnic group in the country. It is not what will be decided by only Fulani/Hausa. Nigerians are tired of you people from Sahel

So 6 of you will decide for 60 million Biafrans huh? In this 21st century? Howwww? grin grin

Africa generally have inferiority complex, was China forcefully colonised? ain't they faring better today?
Their mouth said they won't allow Nigeria to break up, But their daily body language says the opposite.

This country was created by a white man, not God. When you struggle so hard to keep what a white man created why won't he be racist against your African inferiority complex? Like you can't even take decisive decisions that goes contrary to colonialism, even when you know its gonna benefit everyone to break up in peace.

Well someone should tell them that this is coming a bit late, if 50 years after biafra war, nothing better had happened, another 200 years will not be different. we've already made up our mind.

With their sharia system and clandestine islamization agenda in a secular state. Taqqiya experts, they have failed.

Suffering and smiling as usual.

Who suffers the most, the north, who has millions of children roaming the streets begging? The north. Who collects the largest chunck of the country's revenue? The north, yet we don't see any human capital or impactful infrastructural development. Its bokoharam today, kidnapping tomorrow, banditry next tomorrow.

Those agitating for Biafra and oduduwa were rigght, Lord lugard made a huge mistake

You can't keep Nigeria from breaking with cheap rhetoric. Time has gone when threats and bullying worked but not anymore.

The only way you can save Nigeria from breaking is by ensuring there is peace, justice, equity and fairness to all.

You can't deny Igbos the right to rule Nigeria, allow herdsmen to be killing people and always build infrastructure in certain areas while neglecting others and still believe Nigeria won't breakup.

North is currently too fragmented, broken, destabilized, failed, war-torn and poor to successfully fight anyone or to stop any region that wants to break away.

If Nigeria is run like other normal countries and it is progressing, no one will want to break it up, but you can't have such disaster where no one is happy and still claim it can't break.

The reality is that if nothing drastic is done to stem the tide, you all will wake up one day to discover that the country has broken into pieces.

You spoke well bro, but as it is, we don't need the presidency please, we want out!

Aside from useless bragging rights, an igbo presidency that will favour less than 20 people, and still keep us all in this contraption is a no no for all of us. We are better off as good neighbours. Afterall after Brexit Britain is still in good terms with other EU countries.

A 10 minutes video from a 17 yrs old minor had snowballed into the global black lives matters protest, these guys will think everything is all talk and politics until it happens like a movie before their eyes.

To be honest with you, the only reason why I'm still giving Nigeria a chance to redeem itself is because of the market it offers our people. I know you will say that ECOWAS will guarantee that, however, there is a limit to what ECOWAS can do. Look at that recent video of Yorubas crying that Igbos have bought up Lagos. If we are not a country, they would use all manner of policies to chase Igbos out.

Let our people start bringing their investments home and stop developing areas that won't go with us when Nigeria breaks.

To me, 2023 will be the last straw that will determine how everything is going to end. If we can get an Igbo president who will help to restructure Nigeria, then states/regions can protect themselves against herdsmen while using their own resources to develop.

A Nigerian president has powers to bring about a lot of changes but if all that fails, then nothing can stop Biafra actualization.

Both demands are not mutually exclusive.
