NYSC To Be Suspended For Two Years. The Vice-president of Nigeria “Yemi Osinbajo” has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to suspend the NYSC orientation camp for two years.

This recommendation was made by The Economic Sustainability Committee (ESC) due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the suspension of the orientation camp deployment of the primary assignment will still go on.
According to the report “The immediate focus in the Education sector is to address the disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. And ensure social distancing measures at all levels of education”. Also, “Practical steps will be taken to minimize disruption to learning and appropriate utilization of technology”.
