Correspondence Strategist Chioma Agwuegbo has raised an alert of Seyitan Babatayo missing notwithstanding a booked gathering with Nigerian Police PRO toward the beginning of today.

Agwuegbo who expressed that there is solid motivation to trust Seyitan didn’t return home the previous evening, included that she isn’t responding to calls or in contact with her legal advisor or family.

She demanded that the police will be considered dependable on the off chance that anything happens to the supposed rape victim who as indicated by her, is being constrained to abjure her testimony.


She tweeted;


So Miss Seyitan Eunice Babatayo who was supposed to meet with @PoliceNG PPRO this morning is nowhere to be found. She’s not answering calls or in contact with her lawyer or family. There is strong reason to believe she didn’t get home last night.

It is unconscionable that women in Nigeria cannot speak up about sexual violence done to them without fear of more violence. What is this pressure on Seyitan to recant if Dbanj is not guilty? Didn’t they already ask for 100m in damages? Why not allow the law take its course?

We have it on good authority that she is being pressured and induced to recant her testimony. Dear @PoliceNG , you’re already culpable for being a willing tool to harass and intimidate a citizen who accused Dbanj of rape. We will hold you accountable if anything happens to her.

You guys are confusing us biko, dbanj lawyers said she has been arested, nw u are telling us she wasnt arrested and she is not picking her calls, who do we believe nw?

Be it true or false, report a rape case immediately if you survive it, waiting for years to make a report is insensible. It means you have a hidden agenda. If d banj was nobody, would you have come out now. Do you expect d banj to fold his hands and watch while you destroy his career for some pu**y that he has cheap access to. It gonna be a tough thing on both sides & l know that most of these ladies, it’s all about relationships that went sour, nothing more, now using rape to destroy and bring life down, always think before you take a step. Beginning of wars are mostly known but the end is always unclear. Wisdom is thy principal thing, in all thy getting, get understanding. It is well. Say no to rape.

This is the issue with rape cases, I wish she had reported to the police before going on a social media rant. If you say things about someone else, things that can defame them, they are allowed have you arrested. If that is what Dbanj has done, I don't see anything wrong.

It is unfortunate that we only come out to show solidarity when rape cases involve celebrities, or only when victims have met their ultimate end, I honestly wish we could take more of these cases and be as vocal, then we shall truly see changes.
