Reports reaching The Street Journal say that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has moved its Governorship primaries to Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

The primary election which was scheduled to take place this weekend, June 19 and 20, has been shifted to allow for more preparation.

A top leader of the party confirmed that Gov. Godwin Obaseki who has already been registered at ward 4 in Oredo L.G.A. will be picking up the party's governorship nomination from today, June 18, 2020.

What did you expect? The guy had shown interest in the party, it was only common sense for the party leaders to postpone primaries to accommodate him as they stand a better chance of winning with him as the flag bearer.

Obaseki will surely be disgraced.

PDP is really lining up to take advantage of Oshomonkey’s mess in his wanting play God. They have seen and rightly so, that Obaseki is the candidate to beat at the Edo gubernatorial elections & they are taking the necessary steps. Well played!! Soon it would be checkmate.
