NCDC Announces A Record 745 New Cases In Nigeria by Newsbreakers: 9:16am On Jun 19, 2020
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced a record 745 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 18,480. 6 new deaths were recorded along with 340 recoveries; Lagos State topped the list.

The 745 new cases are reported from 21 states- Lagos(280), Oyo(103), Ebonyi(72), FCT(60), Imo(46), Edo(34), Delta(33), Rivers(25), Kaduna(23), Ondo(16), Katsina(12), Kano(10), Bauchi(cool, Borno(7), Kwara(5), Gombe(4), Sokoto(2), Enugu(2), Yobe(1), Osun(1), Nasarawa(1)

The breakdown in the tweet of NCDC shows that the 745 cases were from 21 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 280. Oyo State followed with 103 while the Ebonyi State had 72. 340 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 6307 from 5967. There were 6 new deaths. Find the breakdown below:
