WHAT DIED IN APC

APC is an acronym for the term "ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS"
APC is not yet a dead political party but one obviously on its way if understanding is not met.

What died in APC is a phrase which is gear to unravel the rational behind the incessant cum current conundrum consuming the giant Nigeria political party

To be direct and comparatively factual. The formation of APC is more or less a similitude of the formation process of Nigeria.

The country called Nigeria was a false and forceful conglomeration of regions which its aim was just for the immediate satisfy of the piloting elites who exert hegemony in their various political hemisphere.

The interest of the various actors involved in the amalgamation was pursued with poor consultation because of their selfish interest. And the result, is what we are all suffering today.

Nigeria is in guise of pretentious compatriots,
Bogus unity,
Selfish interest driven elites,
And weaken assemblage of masses who compromises the pursuit of their right for petty gifts, poverty and molestations.

In the case of APC - a true definition of the processes that brought about the amalgamation of Nigeria is actually a better definition of the processes of the formation cum reasons for the happening in ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS

WHAT ACTUALLY DIED IN APC IS; TRUTH, UNITY, FAULTY FOUNDATION, UNHARMONIZED INTERESTS AND POOR CONSULTATION PRIOR HER FORMATION

A critical examination of this factors will leave you with no reason to doubt the happenings in Nigeria and happenings in APC.

In 1959 there was a rush to grab the country from the dominance of the imperialist and basically not for the general interest of the Nigeria people but for the few.

And in 2015 the same thing played out.
There was also rush to oust the government on board and not mainly for the general interest of Nigerians but the few.

Thus, in achieving this impromptu formation, some members with good mind for the country, however, blindfolded with the external priestly behaviour of the foe of Nigeria trajectory the same path, without listening to their intuition to filter the intentions of their colleagues, hence formed a coalition party (APC), to control the decisions and apparatus of the state

They eventually succeeded going by the electioneering contest and coupled with Nigerians hunger for change.

But ever since their historic victory in 2015, the party organizational stability, regard for egalitarianism, respect for ranks, recognition and following of democratic principles and the place of the law had been totally neglected and make mockery of.

No wonder the saying: AS YOU LAY YOUR BED, SO YOU LIE ON IT.
If you built on sand the rain will definitely come and destroy it but if you build on rock, the foundation would certainly be insurmountable...
There's therefore no much differences between the issues in Nigeria as an entity and the problems in APC as an organization

However, immediately after the victory of 2015, the true revelation of the party members unharmonious interest began to surface.

According to an online publication by Isa Ishag Ojibara (May 2017).
"Given the process through which the APC emerged, not many believed the party would pull through to victory in 2015; hence the lack of policy cohesion between the executive and legislature is not surprising. The internal intrigues, differences and rancour that characterized the emergence of principal leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives planted the first seed of confrontation between the party, executive and the legislature."

The emergence of Senator Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara as the senate president and speaker house of representative respectively defeated the party backed candidates; Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gbajabimila from Lagos State.

The emergence of Ike Ekeremadu, PDP Enugu state as Deputy Senate President in APC majority senate was a major blow to the party and laid the foundation for a hostile and confrontational relationship between the presidency and the National Assembly (Is a Ishaq, 2017).

And subsequently, this distrust continued. Unity was politically represented and pretentiously defended by the members in public but within, it had never existed. At a time, it was rumoured that APC was divided into three circles.

Those loyal to the president,
Those loyal to Tinubu and
Those loyal to Sarki

And all with diverse interest. Unfortunately, non of the group interest is close to redeeming of our great country but all for their personal aggrandisement.

Trimming words, just before the 2019 election, all the aggrieved sides who didn't bequeathed the party for another, decided to regroup again against the people Democratic party. Their voice became one and their interests were unified. But the power play didn't stop as their individualistic interest tend to be superior than another and even the nation.

The party national chairman Odigie oyegun who was apparently doing well before then, became irritating as his presence was perceived as no longer useful and convincing to the actualization of their interests.

Hence, the move to relinquish him of his power as the national chairman of the party.

The most interesting part of it all was that, the person rumored to have strategize for the removal of this great man who had worked assiduously to unseat the dominating party which ruled for almost two decades is a brother from the same state and ancestor.

The truth is that, I have never seen a northern politician in the same circle fighting another northerner to occupy the same position in the federal level. Their interest is regulated once it is their person in that position. But the south, the East and the westerners are victims of this foolish act. (Permit me to say that the northern politicians are truly more united)

In short for a northerner to take over the position occupied by a southerner, a fellow southerner must be use to achieve that.

Amechi vs Good luck Jonathan 2015,
Oshomhole vs Oyegun/2014 - 2015,
Amechi vs Ibe Kachukwu 2018,
The case of the former finance minister - kemi Adesun, and so many others instances.

WE NEED TO WAKE UP BEFORE OUR FOOLISHNESS CONSUME US

AND THEN, THE PLAN TO OUST ODIGIE WAS HATCHED AND CONSUMMATED. And a heavy weight politician the person of Adam oshiomhole was planted there. As a master strategist, he eventually had his way and APC returned back to power with the outcome of the 2019 election victory.

Adams oshiomhole being aware of the diverse interests of his party members fought from all sides... This eventually cost them zamfara, Rivers etc. He also fought Rochas Okorocha in what most people perceived as his hatred for godfatherism. But unfortunately today, he is the one playing the godfather.

APC as at today is becoming a lawless party with a lot of unprecedented political inventions. Just a night ago, with the suspension of Adams oshiomhole as the national chairman, within three hours, the country had witness three different persons claiming chairmanship and this will continue if they refuse to recognize the nation's interest to be more superior to theirs.

However, it is not yet late for the party to get it right. The following suggestions will go a long way:

1. The president should act to be seen and not always behind the scene: politically it is not absolutely possible to belong to everybody and not for any body. That is the highest political scam of the decade. The president by right is the leader of the party and his suggestions and wisdom will never be taken for granted. The more he keep mute because he has gotten his second term, the faster the party will go down the drain.

2. APC future should be re - dialogue or renegotiated: the primary aim for the formation of the party was to unseat the leading political party PDP. The future of the party was not considered. What they have done so far after their 2015 victory is just a pushing. Hence renegotiation is Paramount to truly ascertain those who are genuinely for the party and those who are not and also, for a clearer vision.

3. The various lies they told Nigerians which eventually brought them to power is not what Nigerians would like to continue hearing but a pose action towards the fulfilment of these manifestoes would go a long way to redeem the party's integrity. Among these promises were; true federalism,
improve power, job creation
and better security e.t.c.

4. The interests of the various parties that formed the mother party now (All Progressive Congress), should be cordially harmonize and not disregarded. It is actually on news, where Rocha's Okorocha was telling Oshiomhole that he - Rocha's singlehandedly gave the name ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS. this is supposedly not to be in the news if there is a stronger fraternity among them.

And finally, the leading political party should stop compromising the independent of the various institutions such as the judiciary, legislature and even the arm forces. The fact that you appointed the personnel and or you place them there, doesn't mean that the constitution of whom they swear an oath to pay allegiance too, should become a mockery of itself, while they are compel to always do your bidden only. APC is just one of the numerous political party in Nigeria. The fact that, you are leading today, doesn't mean you will remain forever. If another political party decides to take over and follow your precedent, will you be bold enough to fight it ?

NOTE: just like Nigeria Amalgamation, APC got it wrong from the very first beginning. Hence, the porousness and the various misbehaviors,
But if work upon can lighting up again the party, to become the good talk of the day by all Nigerians.
Thanks.
