Position: Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in Aba, Abeokuta, Akure, Ijebu-Ode, Lagos and Owerri. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of cement.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Supervise daily activities of the warehouse
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage manager
• Recruit, hire, and train new warehouse employees
• (loaders/Offloaders, Cleaners and Tarpaulin tighter)
• Send reports regularly (IN/OUT status)
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
• Coordination of loaders
• Oversee all warehouse employees, including creating schedules, providing coaching and mentoring, and issuing corrective action when required

Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on experience with warehouse management tools
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with all levels of company staff
• BSc degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
