50 More Akwa Ibom Youths Receive Palliative As Udom's Community Service Hit Eket by Nditoeka: 5:54pm On Jun 19, 2020
Fifty youths from Eket Federal Constituency of Akwa Ibom State on Friday benefited from palliatives from Governor Udom Emmanuel through his Divine Mandate Community Service.


The brief presentation exercise which held at the PDP Secretariat/Divine Mandate Office in Eket, saw the distribution of cash gifts and food items to the benefitting youths.

Distributing the palliatives, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Matters, Aniefiok Iwa Udofia, and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Research and Documentation, Essien Ndueso, in their separate remarks thanked the youths for remaining steadfast in their support to the Udom Emmanuel led administration, saying the gesture was the Governor's way of showing appreciation to the youths for believing in him.

The Governor's aides advised the youths to shun vices capable of derailing their future, and urged them not to relent in supporting the government, assuring of better days ahead.

In their appreciation, the youths drawn from Eket, Esit-Eket and Ibeno speaking through Jerry Edoho, Ubong David and Samuel Eyo thanked Governor Udom Emmanuel for the surprised package and promised to remain supportive of his administration.

The Divine Mandate Community Service is a vehicle, used by the Governor to provide palliatives through food and gift items to down trodden and less privileged in state.

The community service has been operational since 2015
