Udom Emmanuel has been said to be the man with the Midas touch as everything he touches yields fruit. His administration has taken brave and impressive steps in removing doubts from the minds of skeptics in the state in terms of his commitments to industrialize the state.

Udom, over the years has emerged as an undisputed administrator who displays uncommon zeal to contribute further to the development of Akwa Abasi Ibom State. He embraced the office with open arms and the results have been massive as he uses his wealth of knowledge given to him by God (who is always with him just as his name implies) to bring development to the state.

Look around you and see the Wonders of Udom staring back at you in the face. He has bettered the lives of both young and old. Looking back at the internal roads at Obio Akpa Campus of Akwa Ibom State University, especially the popularly known "College Road" now known as "Martha Udom Road" was so badly damaged that residents swam in dirts and mud to get into their homes. Now the road is well tarred and people can literally drive with their eyes closed. What about the "Pinnacle Theatre" of the Performing Arts Department of Obio Akpa? It is one of its kind in Akwa Ibom. Not also forgetting "Atan Road" still In Obio Akpa Campus where new lodges have been built to accommodate students within and outside the community. But without good roads and structures in the community, how will businesses thrive?

The indigenes and entrepreneurs couldn't operate their businesses in the area. Transportation was a great challenge as students were charged higher to be conveyed in and out of the school compound because the roads were in bad shape.

After years of wailing, complaining and struggling from students, riders, indigenes and business owners, their prayers were answered through Governor Udom Emmanuel.

As a lover of good things and a man with good heart, he understood that good roads was one of the pivotal things to help a community grow. He knows that an industrialized state cannot operate well if the roads around it are in bad shape. That was why the Governor got into action by turning the "Hills of Obio Akpa" as they were usually called to "Expressway" for all and sundry and still erecting more buildings/teaching halls in the institution. These are the "Wonders of Udom".
