Hey guys, I need your help. There is this phone number I nolonger want on my android phone, but it keeps showing up every time I delete it. I'm not too tech savvy, but I went online to search for a solution, and followed some of the tips I read about unsynchronizing my contacts from my mail/social media accounts and so on. But the damn number keeps showing up.

This things is really frustrating me right now, cos I nolonger want to be seeing status updates from the owner of the number. Can someone please help me out here. Please!

Go to your google settings page and manually delete the contacts from your google. Also find where those numbers are coming from. They could be from your sim or phone or SIM cards. Use appropriate action.

I did that before and it came back. Thanks for your comment.

Anyway, I have deleted my Google account from my phone now. Problem solved, even though this will affect some other things, I don't care.

Download True caller and delete any number of your choice from the app

I went to contact settings and deleted my Google account that was synched to my contact list. It affected some phone functions, but I don't care...as long as that number is no longer on my phone, i can sleep well at night
