...When he was a Senate leader at the 9th assembly, he never clamoured or support the motion for the reduction of the "luxury wages" then, the sugar was so sweet in his mouth and he finds it difficult to spit it out.

When they're being addressed as "Former" that's when they start behaving as if they very close to the masses, but when they're addressed as "Current" they're officially blind to anything that would stop them from having a slice of the cake.

Peter obi had been saying this since he ventured into politics.

Reducing the cost of governance is the first step to put Nigeria on the path of progress. He did it when he was the governor that why he hand over 75 billion naira to his successur.

Anambra was the least indebted state. He did not burrowed any money from the bank yet he was performing well in other sectors like infrastructure, education, heath, industrialization etc

It is not a rocket science. It is very simple. Nigeria can be great only if we reduce the cost of governance.

Playing to the gallery as usual. This was the same Senator that canvassed for a cut in workers salary to save the economy, so he knows that workers earn peanuts before ?

These kids below are the ones that need wardrobe allowance, or anything increament in their lives.
And vehicles that will be taking them to and from school.
Not our senators or any , retired, sitting, standing or crawling politicians .

A good and better Nigeria is all we want.
God bless Nigeria.

Modify:
This is one of the conditions we gave the government when the issue of minimum wage was hot....
Read below.....

How to pay minimum wage comfortably,

1. Abolish SECURITY VOTE in NIGERIA. Nigeria will pay N45,000 minimum wage comfortably.

2. a) Abolish CONSTITUENCY PROJECT FUNDS
b) Reduce number of ADVISERS to SENATE PRES(2), HOUSE SPEAKER(2), GOVs(4), PRESIDENT(5), VP(2)
c) Reduce current ALL Political Office Holders PAY CHEQUES by 51.5%, without exception
d) Do away with special remuneration to POLITICAL ADVISERS & PUBLIC SERVANTS e.g; Purchase of Private Vehicles, Houses, granting Govt paid Vacations, paying for 1st & Business Class Transportations, etc, etc...
e) Abolish payment of OVERSEAS MEDICAL BILLS for Political Office Holders.
f) Eliminate PRIVATE PRACTICE in public workforce
g) Eliminate participation of Public Workforce in Partisan Politics.
h) Institute EMPLOYMENT BY MERIT, and eliminate UNDEREMPLOYMENT.
i) Review and eliminate allocation of Govt paid POLITICAL AIDES & SUPPORT STAFF to Political Office Holders.

With (1) + (2) Nigeria would pay a minimum wageof N65,000 comfortably....... (3, 4 and 5 To be completed on another thread)

God bless Nigeria

Very expensive democratic government to the detriment of the masses. That's why restructuring comes to play. We need to organize massive protests for things like this plaguing us in this our dear nation.

Don't mind him. He's a lunatic. He's saying this now because he has already gotten his share. When they are in position to fix things, they wouldn't use the opportunity and once they are nolonger serving and not collecting, that's when they know something is wrong with the system.

Are you just realising today? As a 10 year old I knew this.

The only solution is transparency in selecting and removing non functioning senators and lawmakers.

As beautiful as you're, one would expect you to be atleast Bright in order to compliment the beauty, but the reverse is the case here... Your low comprehension ability leaves me wondering if you really worth your degree certificate or you choose to sleep with all the randy lecturers just to scale through.

Go back to my comment and read the first line slowly, I believe that would help boost your low comprehension system.

Now the joke is on you... "Beauty without brains" Olodo.

Please, read the thread very well. He was Senate leader in 8th assembly during Saraki era, currently he's the chairman senate committee on Army in this 9th assembly under Ahmad Lawan.

You are entitled to your opinion on the issue o, I'm just pointing out the loopholes in your comment with all due respect.

Ndume said, “We have a budget of N10tn and only 30 per cent is going to the majority, whereas 70 per cent will be spent on a few minority. The system we are practising now is not fair either morally or socially.

He's been saying the right things for the past few years now but couldn't effect any when he was the leader of the senate.

Typical Nigerian politician who always knows what to do when he has no power but quickly forgets when he gets into power. embarassed
