The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has directed the Nigerian Police to seal-off the National Secretariat of the ruling party, APC in Abuja.
The decision was taken over two conflicting rulings made by the Abuja High Court and Federal High Court Kano over the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the party chairman .
The Inspector General who met with the
National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressive Congress, APC on Friday, June 19 at the Force Headquarters in Abuja told the party members to stay off the Secretariat till a decision is reached by the Court over the Chairmanship of the party .
The State Security Service were also at the Party’s Secretariat with the Nigeria
Police to prevent access into the
Secretariat as they sealed-off the building in Abuja. Premium Times reports.
