Both have the same jurisdiction!
No, they don't. In the event of conflicting ruling, the federal high court ruling will override the state. According to my barrister lecturer. cool

The sword of Damocles is now hanging over the head of Obas.
First like the famous Nigerian snake, they allegedly swallowed his N6b (aka tax collectors) after which the Emperor withdrew his support. Now this. Haba! Make una no let heart attack kee Obas o!

That is for matters outside the state, not for those that happened within the territories of the state.

Oga go check your Law 101 abeg & stop displaying your ignorance on Nairaland.
INEC & party NWC are in charge of states electoral process which makes it a federal matter & beyond state. I thought this was a common sense.

Obaseki messed up.

Why did he delay before joining PDP?

Was he waiting for miracle to happen after apc has already screened him out?

Had it been he decamped to Pdp the next day after apc screened him out, he would have had enough time to sort out things.

Or is he trying to tell us that he wasn't expecting what apc did to him.

Obaseki what's the way forward... Maybe he should decamp to NCDC or PHCN... He shouldn't have allowed his feud with Oshiomole to decay to that level. It could have been resolved. He didn't time his moves wisely

grin grin grin

Shouting fake news up and down won’t change anything. Tell Obaseki to go and get a stay of execution or else, he won’t participate in PDP primary. If PDP allows him to participate without getting a stay of execution or vacating the order, the party will eventually be disqualified.

Someone who not only participated in PDP primary, but has won it.
