It looks like Real Madrid and Barcelona are both trying to develop the narrative that VAR is biased in favour of the other, but the truth is that both teams have benefited from borderline decisions.

He avoided any action for a violent shove on Diego Carlos last week , but this tackle is legitimately dangerous and could’ve broken a leg.

This is the 2nd game game in a row Messi has escaped a RED card. pic.twitter.com/zCjdspdJ9I

Again he escaped without a booking and we’ve seen red cards given for so much less, so he has to count himself lucky here.

The match ended 1-0 in favor of Barcelona, given Real Madrid a must win task and go ahead once again.

Lol see the way ignorance is making you to shoot blanks.

Did you watch the match?
I believe 'No' is your answer but then you just jumped at the conclusion because a thread on nairaland says so. undecided

If he really meant to injure the player.

Why didn't the opponents protest?
Why didn't the injured player protest?
Why didn't the referee consult his other VAR officials?

Why was Lionel messi so sorry and was even checking on him?

You see why you must not go into conclusion if you don't have evidence of what happened.

This is how some of you put yourself in trouble because of unbridled tongues.

you don't judge football like that, heung min son of Tottenham, when he broke gomes leg of Everton, was it intentional? he was even crying because he knew that gomes would not play for months, yet son was red carded and almost got a ban.

u don't Judge red card by intent but by d foul.....u don't Know how many penalties are given because of mere contact not intent. don't let ur love for messi blind u

It was clear that the red card was a mistake and the red card was overturned and that was why he was not given a ban.

And it was not even the tackle by Son that broke the legs of Gomez.
Iionel messi came face to face with the opponent.
Everyone's eyes including that of the referee and the coaches and the players were on them and yet nobody protested.

They all knew it is a normal accident that happens in football.

It is a everyday occurrence in football.

You need to watch the highlight again.

The person who post this did it out of hatred because from the video you can see that it is not intentional. Things like this happened in football on daily basis. Sentiment should not be brought into football because it generates racism. Just watch and love the game

the foul play of Messi should be Barca affair. the op should have focused on that rather than diluting it with something else.
