First cut the bogus salaries and allowances of political office holders by 60%

Before we start thinking for civil servants

That is the solution?

I think many people don't realise Nigeria is a poor nation.

Nop, that's just the first step,

Then come 20~40% slash on those government agencies that collect bogus salaries and yearly upfronts e.g DPR, FIRS, NCC etc

Useless buying official cars to top government officials and ester codes need to stop.

I think you are actually looking to punish those who actually earn money to compensate those that don't.

The problem with Nigeria is that Nigerians aren't productive.

We don't create wealth.

Perhaps, but you cant have ministry workers earning 60k while those in top agencies earn 500k monthly with yearly upfront.

That breeds corruption, tooo much gap

They are just collecting big salaries. Some of them are on special high salary. The corruption is also very high. Contractors in those organization know them very well. They collect bogus salary, award contract to themselves through proxies and collect almost 50% share from contractors. Those guys are very mean. The DG or CEO does not know what is happening in that organization.
