FEC awards contract for dualization of Akure-Ikere road

The Federal Executive Council has approved the award of contract for dualization of the Akure-Ikere road

Ondo state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who announced the news said it came as a result of Ondo and Ekiti state governments engaging intensely with the President, Vice President and Minister for Works.

Akeredolu cited that both state’s also secured funding from AfDB to augment the Federal Government’s contribution stressing that it is a great example of two states collaborating deliberately for the good of the people

The Ondo state governor said he looks forward to both state’s enjoying the benefits of the project.
