Why Is It Day Time In London But Night In Nigeria? by Casemiro(m): 7:35am On Jun 26, 2020
So I was watching Chelsea VS Mancity play yesterday, and I noticed that.

I noticed that it was still day time, the sun was still shinning in London but it was already night in Nigeria.

Like how did it happen? Nigeria and London share the same time zone, and 8 pm in Nigeria is still 8 pm in London.

What could possibly be the reason? Is 8pm no longer night time in London?

It is actually a longer day over there which means there is almost 20 hrs daylight and becomes visibly dark by 10 or 11pm.
Most times during summer that is what happens and during winter the daylight reduces

It has something to do with summer solstice, Longer day and shorter night you could read it up on google. We also have the winter solstice were we have shorter day and longer night, put differently, it get visibly dark at 3pm or worse 2pm in some part europe. People like me wey sabi fear for night, na summer solstice wey dey soft pass....
