Federal Government Gives Fresh Details On Resumption by inforsu: 9:11am On Jun 26, 2020
Public and private schools across the country may soon be reopened if certain conditions are met and approved by all the concerned stakeholders.

Emeka Uwajiuba, the Minister of State for Education said that the ministry now has adequate information to make decisions on school reopening, according to The Nations.

It was gathered from Legit.ng that the minister however said, that such decision and information would have to be presented to the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19.

Mr. Emeka said this in Abuja, at the PTF briefing on COVID-19 on Thursday, the 25th of June.

The Minister said they had adequate information, considering the reopening of schools, adding that until such a decision is presented to the Presidential Task Force, the decision for the closure of schools remained intact.
He also debunked reports that a statement credited to him that COVID-19 was a sham, abode in the figment of the reporter's imagination.

He said; " I am constrained to refute this allegation that some of our brothers in the media reported that I said corona virus is a sham."

"None of those things happened, corona virus is real, maybe they could not understand my grammar,"
