If 1,2,13,84,185,269,554 persons have died as a result of this virus in Nigeria it is painful honestly because if this virus hadn’t been existent these innocent souls won’t have gone in the first place. At least not so soon. Lord have mercy on us all. |

Investnow2017:Discoveries and research into treatment has definitely helped but...that's when the health system isn't horribly whelmed. A large number of our cases are in the 20-50 age range so maybe that's a good thing. Can't believe we'll spend the whole year observing these numbers |

SirWarlock:Yes, with our snail-pace testing, I am not sure we have heard the last about this contagion over here. Countries that have had any meaningful control over the pandemic have been those that explored accelerated testing and effective contact tracing. I think we are playing for time until the emergence of an acceptable vaccine. The virus has proved almost inconquerable. Have you noticed that Israel, Guatamala, Bolivia, Iran and Argentina are tallying surging figures lately? Not even wealthy economies have all the resources to overcome this pandemic without a vaccine. And how soon will that happen? I am not sure soon. And this time, the narrative around any vaccine will have to be able to overcome all the mind boggling conspiracy theories out there. It's going to be a tough call especially for a nation like ours that does not feel threatened by the pandemic because of our relative low mortality. Intriguing times ahead really, as we look forward to reaching a new milestone of 10m detected cases likely in the next 24 hours! 3 Likes |

Ghostmode2two:What will a lockdown achieve at this point with our modus operandi? That would be most unwise to do for a struggling economy like ours. A lockdown at this stage will impact negatively on the ability of many to fight off the virus as their immunity would have been compromised via poor nutrition, thus leading to a spike in our mortality record. We must not tamper with whatever nature is using to help us fight this Covid-19, a lockdown now will be counter-productive, except it is a deliberate isolated, targeted shutdown that must be met with an aggressive contact tracing and testing - and I don't see that happening going by our antecedent 1 Like |

Most times, we don't achieve our dreams. This is because we lack the motivation to keep pushing. This is what worked for me after several years of depression, every morning I listen to motivational speech, this is to push me to do more. I must tell you, it's really been helpful. You can watch this motivational speech and trust me, you won't regret it https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCGJFiNE2or4aSMdZJipEo7Q
