The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 684 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 23,298. 5 new deaths were recorded along with 431 recoveries; Lagos State topped the list.

The 684 new cases are reported from 19 states- Lagos(259),Oyo(76), Katsina(69), Delta(66), Rivers(46), Ogun(23), Edo(22), Osun(22), Ebonyi(21), FCT(20), Kaduna(16), Ondo(10), Imo(9), Abia(9), Gombe(5), Plateau(4), Bauchi(4), Ekiti(2), Anambra(1).

The breakdown in the tweet of NCDC shows that the 684 cases were from 19 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 259. Oyo State followed with 76 while the Katsina State had 69. 431 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 8253 from 7822. There were 5 new deaths. Find the breakdown below:
