Alex Kueng (pronounced king), one of the ex police officers accused of abetting murder in the death of George Floyd, is an African-American. Specifically, he has a part Nigerian ancestry - his father was Nigerian and his mother is a Caucasian American. He had recently enlisted to be a cop, much to the disagreement of his family, to, according to him, ''try to change the bad policing system'' in Minneapolis. Alas, only 3 days on the job, he was caught up in that system and now potentially faces 40 years in jail if convicted. His two siblings, who are adopted Blacks, have indicated to change their last name to dissociate with the "Keung" family name.

Ugaboy: Nothing like that. Nobody cares in America. It is a fact that he has a Nigerian father. But he is not Nigerian by citizenship. 1 Like |

FSU: He's Nigerian American not African American which makes his behavior understandable. A lot of Nigerians support white racists in their disdain for blacks which they fail to understand that they are also included in the hatred. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Mightyhaiz: Yes, he is the one. His little saving grace is he is not the one who chocked Floyd to death. So, he could get may be only 10 years. |

which Nigerian-American? when did Nigerians started bearing the name"keung"? must you associate every evil with naija? we only know how to scam abroad, not to kill innocent blacks, biko |
Re: George Floyd's Death, His Killers And The Nigerian Connection by FSU: 2:40am On Jun 28, 2020 |
kabillionaire: He did not kill anyone. He is accused of abetting. That in this case means watching when another person killed and not intervening when he should have. Talking about name, what does Mercy Johnson or Herbert Macaulay mean? Is that Nigerian or English? 1 Like |

FSU: I can see you're hell bent on associating such a devilish person with naija. Do you think it's only someone that pulls a trigger that kills? anyone involved in the planning, abetting or whatever name you call it too is guilty of murder. For example; those sponsoring terrorism, rituals and kidnappings in this country are all murderers. For his name, na waoh for you oooh.. which one come bi keung again biko 1 Like |

Why must Nigeria(n) be drag into every evil. He is an American citizen and not a Nigerian. As long as you have swap your Nigeria citizenship, you are no longer a Nigerian. |

govomotors: Well, Nigerians in the US call themselves Nigerian Americans. When Nigerians do well in America Nigerians on the continent are proud and brag about them being Nigerian, so when they do wrong you have to take that as well. He is Nigerian on his father side, he is Nigerian American. |

sexylassie2: Shame on you for being too naive to understand that the protest is not about George Floyd. It's about the corrupt police department and the injustice in the US. Regardless of what Floyd did in the past he paid for it with time in prison, regardless of what Floyd did in the past had nothing to do with him being murdered. The police are supposed to serve and protect they are not the judge, jury and executioner. If you believe in karma then the murdering police officers will have the same destiny as Floyd. 2 Likes 1 Share |
