I had been procrastinating on self publishing my manuscript that came third in an all African crime fiction contest; The World Will Be Your Oyster. And when I finally decided to do, I did extensive research on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing and I concluded it was a good start.

I, however, became worried after my book went live on Amazon KDP and I rolled it out on social media but people keep complaining they can't buy it from Nigeria.

I did some digging, no light. I then queried amazon. Their response partly read: "Kindles and Kindle content are currently unavailable in  Nigeria and Africa."

Unfortunately, I've given them the sole right for sale which will span for 6months.

I'm dropping this piece here so others will not make the same mistake i made.

Nigerians and Ghanaians have dealt with them so bad that they want to stay safe instead of sorry. Men like Hushpuppi are who people like OP should blame.
