Following the death of the former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, a family source has disclosed why the ex-governor burial was shifted till Sunday, despite being a Muslim.

Ajimobi who passed on Thursday, June 25, 2020, was said to have died of COVID-19 complications.

Also, it is a known fact that as a Muslim, once you are dead, it either you are buried the same day or a day after.

iBrandTV gathered from a confirmed source who pleaded anonymity that, the burial had not taken place due to a disagreement between the Ajimobi family and the Oyo state government on the burial plans by the family.
