Sunday, January 30, 2011[b][size=14pt] Lucky Igbinedion declared wanted by EFCC[/size][/b] Previously convicted former governor of Edo State, Chief Luck Igbinedion has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following fresh discoveries that he fraudulently diverted Edo State Government’s Afribank shares valued at $6.2 million (N961m) and government’s Access Bank Plc shares valued at $775, 000 (N120m) amongst others for his personal use. Can someone who have been tried, convicted and asked to pay N1.5 million be tried for the same offence again, albeit a variant but an offence from the same stable. |

Why did Efcc not carry out thorough investigation before Lucky was convicted? Are they sure he is still in the country now? Well they should look for him to clear himself of fresh charges against him. I bet there are many more. See how fat & shapeless he has become; a man less than 50 years old. He looks even older than his own father. That is what greed has caused him; turning him into an amoeba. That in itself is punishment; rolling from place to place like a drum. What a pity! |
