1. Customized Messages and Notifications
Android 11 comes with a Dedicated conversation space. So your whatsapp, hangout, text messages etc will all appear here. You can also change your do-not-disturb priorities easily.

2. New ScreenShot Position
Rather than appearing on the notification shade, you’ll be able to see the image toggle at the bottom of the screen. You can also edit and share as usual. The screenshot will also appear in the gallery.

3. Built-In Screen Recorder
Finally a native Screen Recorder has been introduced to the default Android phone(Note: some Samsung devices already have this feature). No longer will you have to install 3rd party applications for screen recording!

4. Improved Device and Media Control
When you long press the power button You’ll be able to adjust the smart devices that you have connected to your smartphone. The orientation will look different to what you’ve seen on Android 10.

5. Improved Privacy
There are also some extra privacy controls in the latest version of android(Android 11). When you launch and app for the first time you’ll be able to give permission just once or set it to ask every single time.

The truth is if you use a Xiaomi device, you should be more concerned about MIUI updates than Android updates because MIUI comes with all the juices.

I'm using MIUI 11.0.6 on Redmi Note 7. It doesn't have inbuilt Screen recorder, also u'll have to draw down before u can access screenshot.

Na you sabi not all phones get Android upgrades my Huawei y9 2019 didn't get Android 10 upgrade does that make it less of a phone? I really don't see what the fuzz is all about as long as a phone serves my daily needs that's okay and it meets my company's security requirements that's all I need i don't even use phone cameras all I need is office 365 running and every other thing to keep me online.

You won't lose any data and after updating, make sure to hard reset your phone randomly.

it might make it to the huawei,the ban could be one of the reasons for the delay
All people are trying to say is that for that price you could have gotten something better,you just happened to be someone who doesn't utilize his phone in every aspect according to your post if not you'll notice the importance of updates and what value for money is
For example those who use the note 7 for gaming will be ashmed when their friends redmi 9 for a way less price outperforms it.
