MR NWAFOR DANIEL EX- APC CHAIRMAN IMO STATE DISOWNED BY HIS LGA APC EXECUTIVES.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Imo State, wishes to notify the general public that Mr. Daniel Nwafor who purports to be the State chairman of our great party APC, in Imo State and has gone ahead parading himself in that capacity is not our member and as such, cannot claim to be the chairman of Imo state APC.

The said Mr. Daniel Nwafor, left our party in the build up to the 2019 general election alongside his principals and joined the Action Alliance AA from where he openly and vigorously campaigned and worked against all our candidates in the general election,including Gov Hope Uzodinma.

We are aware that Mr. Daniel Nwafor has not formally rejoined APC in his Umunoha/Azara ward after his defection to AA and open anti party activities, therefore, he can not legitimately claim membership of our party, not to talk of purporting to be the state Chairman of our great party.

If Mr. Daniel Nwafor desires to return to our great party which he is free to do, he is advised to follow laid down procedures stipulated by the constitution of the APC, after which he should queue behind those who have been working and sacrificing for the growth and development of the party in the ward, LGA and State before his return.

In view of the foregoing, we hereby unequivocally state that any purported list(s) being compiled by him, any other person in Mbaitoli local government or any other action for that matter being purportedly undertaken in the name of our party without the approval of Mbaitoli APC leadership, comprising all political appointees and major stakeholders is illegal, null and void and consequently, of no effect.

We are calling on members of our party in Imo state not to do or transact any business with him as his status as a member of our party is still under investigation.

May we also use this medium to reaffirm our implicit confidence in the ability of Barr Kingsley Ononuju, the Imo State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Hon. John Eke, Hon. Wilson Nwafor, Engr. Innocent Ikpamezie, Hon. Chinoye Agogbuo, Hon. Ikenna Nlemigbo, Dr. Samuelson Emehibe, Hon. Emeka Ahaneku and other major stakeholders of our great party on the way they are using their leadership qualities to reposition and transform APC in Mbaitoli Local government area.

In the same vein, APC Mbaitoli local government proudly wishes to identify fully with Chief Barr Mercellinus Nlemigbo's led State APC caretaker committee and in the leadership capacity of the Executive Governor of our dear state, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma for his astuteness and sagacity in saving the Imo APC from total collapse. Gov Uzodinma's golden touch has brought the state back to the path of sustainable growth and development and we are confident that by the time he is through with his 3R agenda, Imo State will truly become a land of shared prosperity.
